It can successfully scan sharp edges, black and shiny objects, and fur or hair. The Calibry Mini is a lightweight 3D scanner that can easily be taken anywhere thanks to its ergonomic design. This modular device offers three 3D scanning modes: texture, geometry and markers. Texture tracking is recommended for objects with little geometry but sample contrasting textures, especially antiques or museum artefacts. The geometry tracking mode can be used for 3D scanning body parts or objects and the marker tracking mode for capturing anything with a smooth, shiny or transparent surface, such as a car.
